Michelle Bartok

Michelle Bartok has been a passionate developer of performance beauty products for over 35 years.  She has formulated for over 5000 companies, including brands as large and iconic as Bath & Body Works and Moroccan Oil.  But Michelle’s passion is working with emerging technologies and ingredients.  Her inspiration comes from her very own, high end, spa located in Oceanside.  Many of Michelle’s new product formulations are vetted and improved on by actual spa customers.

Michelle gives back to the beauty industry as an active member of the International Spa and Fitness Association, the Society of Cosmetic Chemists, the American Chemists Society, the Beauty Industry West, the Women’s President Organization and the Fashion Group International.  Michelle was awarded the Entrepreneur of the Year in 2003 by the Beauty Industry West and was a Top 50 San Diego Entrepreneur of the Year in 2005 and 2012.  She has taught classes at UC Irvine, and the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in San Diego and Los Angeles.  Michelle also served on the Advisory Board for the Dean of the College of Business at Cal State San Marcos.  She holds a BS from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Michelle lives the healthy, wellness lifestyle she advocates. Michelle is passionate about yoga, skiing, surfing, outrigger canoe racing, horse polo and sailing.  She is a certified massage therapist and EMT, as well!  Michelle has two grown daughters and two new grandbabies.
